2018 World Cup:-

The 2018 World Cup  is the 21st of  FIFA world Cup. It is an international Football Tournament which is held after every four Years by the associations members of FIFA. It is currently Outgoing in Russia which was started on 14 June 2018 and will end with the Final Match on 15 July 2018. On 27 October 2017 an announcement was made by FIFA Council Confirmed  Contributions for all FIFA World Cup Participants. For this purpose  FIFA  Club Benefit Program is an integeral Component. For 2018 World Cup  total Contribution of Participant is USD 791 million. 400 million USD will be paid to 32 participating team as prize money.

The Winner of this tournament will receive 38 million USD and runner up  will received 28 million USD. Each qualified team will be paid 1.5 million USD to cover Preparation Cost. The Russia 2018 World Cup will have  impact of $31 billion on  Russian Economy.

Hosting of FIFA World Cup 2018:-

Russia for the first time in history is hosting the World Cup. The Bidding process for the host of 2018 &2022 was started in January 2009. On Second December 2010 Russia won the right to host the World Cup in second Round of Voting.

Only 32 Nations qualify for the FIFA 2018 World Cup.Even 4 time Champion Itally does not qualify for 2018 World Cup. Both Iceland and Panama Qualify for the very First time in World Cup.

 These 32 nations are subdivided into the 8 group.Each group is composed of 4 teams.

Above 8 group had pass through qualifying phase and had qualified for 2018 World Cup.

FIFA 2018 Knock Out Stage:-

In the Knockout Stage if both teams failed to score any goal then 30 minutes of extra time is given  to composed on two periods of 15 minutes and followed if necessary. Referees in FIFA 2018 World Cup:-

On 29 March 2018 a list of 36 referees and 63 assistant referees was released by FIFA. While on 30 march 2018  a list of 13 video assistant referee was released.

Video Assistant Referee is also used in 2018 World Cup. VAR is used first time in FIFA Tournament.

VAR is Football Assistant referee who reviews decision made by head referee with Video Footage. Also Provide Headset for Communication .

Russia World Cup 2018 is the history most expensive World Cup. Russian Government has enmarked budget of $20 billion which was later slashed to $10 billion for just preparation of 2018 World Cup. Construction and Renovation of Transport Infrastructure was also Implemented.
